Description and Objectives: Developmental challenges can be viewed from different perspectives. The lens through which we view challenges such as autism, anxiety, and depression, strongly influence how we respond to and support students. After outlining three key frameworks for understanding development and learning, we will cut across disciplinary boundaries and discuss practical approaches to supporting students through considering each developmental framework. Participants will walk away with examples and tools for implementing holistic supports that meet the diverse needs of students.
